Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to perform daily accounting tasks using Rent Manager for assigned properties.The selected candidate will record, categorize, and reconcile financial transactions with accuracy.The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable: process invoices, verify vendor statements, ensure timely payments.Additionally, the Financial Operations Specialist will manage Accounts Receivable: post tenant payments, apply charges, and reconcile tenant ledgers.The specialist will also complete monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger entries.A key responsibility of this role is ensuring proper coding and documentation of all accounting activities.The Financial Operations Specialist will post monthly rent, late fees, bill-backs, and reconciliation adjustments.This role involves reviewing tenant ledgers and assisting in resolving discrepancies.The CAM/NNN reconciliations, operating expense tracking, and annual adjustments are also responsibilities of the Financial Operations Specialist.The Financial Operations Specialist will prepare monthly financial packages (P&L, balance sheet, variance reports).Assistance with annual budget preparation for multiple properties is required.The specialist will generate ad hoc financial reports as requested by stakeholders.Maintaining organized digital records and supporting internal documentation needs is essential for this role.The Financial Operations Specialist will assist in internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Effective collaboration with clients, property managers, and cross-functional teams is necessary for success in this position.
