We have an excellent opportunity for a
Medical Copy Editor . The Medical Copy Editor will maintain editorial quality control of agency deliverables during all stages of production. The candidate must have experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical copyediting and be a proactive, motivated, and resourceful individual with excellent editorial skills and a dedication to helping to establish thorough editorial processes.

This is an exciting role and would require you to
Lead copyeditor on one brand, and/or backup on a variety of brandsCopy edit, fact-check, and proofread a variety of promotional and educational materials for physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients from manuscripts through print or digital productionWork closely with Account Services, Copywriters, Art Directors, and other team members to ensure that print and digital materials are of the highest quality in terms of accuracy, utility, clarity, readability, and appealWork with internal teams on timing of quality control of projects, including copyediting, styling, fact-checking, proofreadingWork closely with writers on content and referencingWork closely with account team on content and schedulingHelp copywriters and account team with research and article retrievalCreate and maintain a brand style guide
You will be working closely withOur global creative agency teams. You will also be closely collaborating with our team of talented designers to deliver high-quality services.
This may be the right role for you if you have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExperience (3-5 years) copyediting in a pharmaceutical advertising agency, in-house agency, or medical publishing company preferred. Will consider candidates with medical copyediting experience in other fields, but who are new to the pharma agency environment.Working knowledge of AMA Manual of Style, 11th edition desirableThe desire to work with a diverse group of teams, projects, and clientsA love for learning, teaching, and mentoringThe ability to easily adopt to different processes and culturesArticulate oral and written communication skills essentialCuriosity/interest in medical topics essentialOrganization and attention to detail essential
