Lead Data Infrastructure Architect

Senior Data Architect PositionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the development of our data infrastructure from scratch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, reliable, and high-performance data platforms.This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering fundamentals, including data modeling, data warehousing/lake architecture, and data quality and governance best practices. You will work closely with senior-level engineers to build a cohesive data ecosystem, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient knowledge sharing.Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in building and maintaining production-scale data platforms is required.Demonstrable mastery of data engineering principles, including data pipeline design, data ingestion, storage, and scalability, as well as strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language like Python or Scala.Expert-level experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Flink) and cloud-based data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, S3, Databricks) is essential.Key Responsibilities:Data Platform Development: Design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance data platforms.Data Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to process and transform large datasets efficiently.Data Governance: Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for downstream consumers like analytics and machine learning teams.Collaboration: Work closely with senior-level engineers to build a cohesive data ecosystem and ensure seamless collaboration and efficient knowledge sharing.
