Seeking a seasoned Snowflake Architect to drive data strategy and technical innovation across the BFSI sector.This role demands a unique blend of deep architectural expertise and thought leadership. As the lead technical consultant, you will be responsible for developing complex customer data strategies, elevating our brand reputation through community engagement and leading technical discovery sessions with clients.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Development: Translate banking business challenges into clear Snowflake solutions as the primary technical advisor.Architecture Design: Define target state architecture for large-scale data migrations from legacy systems to Snowflake.Data Security & Governance: Design frameworks within Snowflake to meet stringent BFSI regulatory requirements using features like Role-Based Access Control and Dynamic Data Masking.Emerging Technologies: Lead adoption and application of Snowpark, Snowpipe Streaming and Native Application Framework for advanced financial analytics and data monetization strategies.Community Leadership & Thought EvangelismPublic Speaking: Represent the company as a keynote or track speaker at global data events, focusing on innovative BFSI use cases.Content Creation: Author high-impact technical white papers, blogs and reference architectures that establish expertise in financial data modernization and advanced Snowflake features.Mentorship: Mentor and train internal architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and contributing to the global Snowflake community.Pre-Sales Support: Lead technical discovery sessions and whiteboarding exercises with strategic clients, providing expert guidance and building trust.RequirementsTotal Experience - 15+ years in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing or Cloud Engineering.Snowflake Expertise- 6+ years of hands-on architecture experience with Snowflake.Domain Expertise (MANDATORY) 7+ years of direct experience in BFSI sector, demonstrating knowledge of regulatory reporting, core banking systems and risk management.Certifications - Required: SnowPro Advanced Architect. Required: SnowPro Core. Preferred: At least one other advanced certification.Technical Skills - Expert in SQL and proficiency in Python. Deep experience with ETL/ELT tools and major cloud providers.
