The ideal candidate will have a strong background in character rigging, body mechanics, and animation performance.A. Teaching & Skill DevelopmentConduct classes, labs, and demonstrations in:Character Rigging (biped, quadruped, facial rigs)Body Mechanics AnimationActing & Performance AnimationCreature Animation (preferred)Skinning, weight painting, and deformationRig testing and pipeline fundamentalsPrepare teaching material, assignments, and assessments.B. Student Mentoring & Project SupervisionGuide students in rigging-based projects and 3D animation assignments.Assist students in creating strong demo reels for internships and placements.Mentor teams for film projects, competitions, and industry events.C. Curriculum & Academic DevelopmentSuggest updates to rigging and animation modules as per industry standards.Integrate new tools, plugins, and workflows used in modern studios.D. Departmental SupportSupport events, masterclasses, exhibitions, and industry interactions.Contribute to academic documentation and quality assurance processes.Key QualificationsMaster's degree in Animation / Design / Fine Arts / related field.Minimum 2–5 years of industry experience in rigging and/or 3D animation.Teaching experience preferred but not mandatory.Desirable AttributesPassion for teaching and mentoring.Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking.Ability to keep up with industry trends and evolving rigging workflows.
