Backend Engineering OpportunityOverview:We are seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Golang. This role requires a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs using Golang.Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our service-oriented / microservices backend.Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.Improve performance, monitoring, and observability of backend services.Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on reliability and root-cause analysis.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need:5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in high-scale backend systems.Strong proficiency in Golang is required, with Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience being a plus.Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals — algorithms, data structures, and system design.Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems, APIs, or backend platforms in a production environment.Familiarity with DevOps practices, monitoring tools, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a collaborative mindset.Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software.
