Job Title: Manual Tester – API Testing (2–4 Years Experience)Job Description:We are looking for a Manual Tester with a minimum of 2 years of strong hands-on experience in API Testing. This is a mandatory requirement. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of API concepts, test scenario creation, debugging, and validation techniques. Experience with web and mobile application testing is an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Perform end-to-end API Testing (Mandatory)Design and execute test cases for Functional, Integration, and Regression testingTest APIs using Postman, Swagger, and similar toolsValidate request/response payloads, status codes, headers, schema, and error handlingCollaborate closely with developers and product teams to understand API requirementsLog, track, and re-verify defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar toolsConduct manual testing for web and mobile applications (iOS/Android)Participate in test planning, estimation, and QA discussionsMandatory Skills:Minimum 2 years of strong hands-on experience in API Testing (REST/SOAP)Strong knowledge of API concepts, JSON, XML, request/response structures, and debuggingRequired Skills & Experience:2–4 years of experience in Manual TestingAbility to write clear and effective test casesGood understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologiesStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsGood to Have:Experience with Charles Proxy, Fiddler, or browser DevToolsBasic SQL knowledge for backend data validationPrior experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
