Job Title: IBM iSeries Application DeveloperJob OverviewWe seek an experienced professional to fill a challenging role as an IBM iSeries application developer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in IBM iSeries environments and be proficient in a range of programming languages, including RPG/LE and COBOL/400.The selected individual will also possess excellent project management skills, with experience using Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Additionally, they will have strong knowledge of database management systems, such as DB2/400, and related tools like Query/400 and QM Query.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and implement applications on the IBM iSeries platformCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applicationsAnalyze and troubleshoot issues with existing applicationsStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologiesRequirementsTo be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience working with IBM iSeries platforms. They should be proficient in a range of programming languages, including RPG/LE, COBOL/400, SQL, and CLP/CLLE.A strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies is necessary, as well as experience using JIRA and ServiceNow for project management.
