We are hiring multiple Java Developers to join a global delivery team working on a large-scale, multi-year enterprise transformation program for a reputed international client. This is a fully remote, contract opportunity for experienced Java professionals who enjoy building scalable backend systems and working on high-impact, global projects.Role DetailsRole: Java Developer (Multiple Positions)Engagement Type: Contract / Independent ConsultantLocation: 100% Remote (Work from anywhere)Duration: 12 months (strong extension potential)Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeksKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications and services.Build scalable, high-performance microservices and APIs.Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams on solution design.Implement integrations with enterprise systems and third-party platforms.Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance optimization.Support deployment, production issues, and ongoing enhancements.Contribute to documentation and technical design artifacts.Required Qualifications4+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.Strong experience with Java, Spring / Spring Boot, and REST APIs.Experience working with relational databases and SQL.Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.Experience working in remote, global delivery teams.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred ExperienceExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Experience integrating with SAP or other enterprise platforms is a plus.Experience in large-scale enterprise or transformation programs.Why Join This EngagementMultiple long-term roles on a high-visibility global program.Fully remote engagement with flexibility and global exposure.Strong likelihood of contract extension beyond the initial term.Opportunity to work on modern architectures and scalable systems.Collaborate with senior engineers and architects across geographies.ApplyInterested candidates can share their CV atCareers@SkillsCapital.io
