Senior ASIC Engineer for Test DevelopmentWe are looking for a seasoned professional to oversee the development of advanced test technologies for complex System-on-Chip (SoC) and Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) designs.This critical role involves defining the overall test strategy and architecture, ensuring seamless integration with RTL design, Static Timing Analysis (STA), and synthesis flows. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Design-for-Test (DFT) tools such as Synopsys: DFT Compiler, TetraMAX, TestMAX, Siemens EDA: Tessent ScanPro, MBIST, IJTAG, Cadence/others: Modus, Encounter Test.Develop and implement comprehensive DFT strategies and architectures for multiple SoC/ASIC projects.Design and verify DFT features like scan insertion and compression (e.g., EDT), ATPG pattern generation and fault grading, MBIST and Logic BIST insertion and validation, boundary scan (IEEE 1149.1/1149.6), IJTAG (1687).Oversee the end-to-end DFT flow - from RTL to gate-level netlist and silicon bring-up.Collaborate closely with RTL, STA, Physical Design (PD), and test engineering teams for flawless integration.Generate test patterns, perform fault simulation, and debug test coverage gaps.Own DFT signoff, timing closure (DFT-related paths), and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) pattern delivery.Support silicon bring-up, test vector validation on ATE, and yield optimization efforts.The successful candidate will have exceptional leadership and team collaboration skills, along with proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, Tcl) for automation and a deep understanding of silicon test challenges and test coverage improvement.
