Math Assessment Expertise is required to create high-quality math assessment items aligned to proprietary standards for grades 3–12. We are seeking a skilled Subject Matter Expert to collaborate with our team to write storyboards for review interactives and utilize AI tools to generate items that require correction. Key responsibilities include adhering to K-12 writing guidelines, addressing quality assurance issues, and creating mock-ups of images and diagrams.The ideal candidate will apply deep knowledge of math content and pedagogy across grades 3–12, ensuring mathematical accuracy and grade-level appropriateness. They will work efficiently within assigned batches to meet deadlines, collaborating with a U.S.-based lead for feedback and clarification as needed.Strong content knowledge in U.S. Math is essential, including visual representations of mathematical concepts, graphing, reasoning, and deep conceptual understanding. Familiarity with assessment design principles, age-appropriate difficulty progression, Bloom's level, DOK levels, and alt text protocols is also necessary.This role requires reliable access to the internet and technology for remote work, with proven expertise as a Subject Matter Expert in Math (Grades 3 through 12). The ability to write clear, concise alt text for visual math items is essential. Strong understanding of Depth of Knowledge (DOK) levels and experience authoring questions at DOK Level 2 and DOK Level 3 are also necessary.
