Senior System Designer - E-commerce SystemsWe're looking for a skilled Senior System Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge e-commerce systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems that meet the needs of our growing business.As a Senior System Designer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, design architectures, and implement solutions. You will ensure that all systems are well-integrated, secure, and meet both business and technical requirements.Key responsibilities include:Designing and implementing distributed systems, including microservices architectureDeveloping and maintaining system documentation, including technical specifications and design documentsCollaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and technologiesProviding technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineersParticipating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standardsStaying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvementRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 8-15 years of experience4+ years of experience in architecting and designing cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP/Oracle)2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab/Jenkins/GitHub Actions)Experience with microservices and event/message-driven distributed systemsExposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is preferredBasic experience with monitoring and APM tools such as Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana/SplunkExposure to Oracle Retail POS Suite (Xstore/Xenvironment/Xadmin/Xcenter/XServices), OpChain Framework, and Oracle Database is an added advantageProven leadership in mentoring and guiding engineering teamsExperience with Retail domain, Retail systems architecture, and mobile technologies is preferred5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java (J2SE) and Advanced Java (J2EE)What We OfferAs a Senior System Designer at our company, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with a talented team of engineers, and grow professionally and personally.
