Operating in a pre-sales capacity, the Senior Industry Principal uses a consultative, value-based approach to identify strategic opportunities, shape solution vision, and develop tailored roadmaps that demonstrate how Kinaxis solutions can address complex supply chain challenges and deliver measurable business value. What you will doAct as a pursuit manager on key opportunities, collaborating with sales, pre-sales, and services to position the right solutions, shape software demonstration strategies and ensure alignment with customer objectives.Provide insights and expertise on the application of AI in supply chain management and articulation of its benefits.Apply domain expertise in areas such as demand planning, S&OP, supply planning, supplier collaboration, business analytics, reporting, and infrastructure technologies.Demonstrate deep knowledge of Kinaxis solutions – both current and emerging – and translate complex industry challenges and trends into tailored Kinaxis solutions that align with each customer's unique business needs.Develop industry and customer-specific messaging to support sales efforts and build long-term relationships with customers across business, finance, and IT stakeholders.Leverage competitive intelligence to highlight Kinaxis' unique value and differentiation in the market.Lead value engineering efforts by creating and presenting business cases that clearly demonstrate ROI and the strategic value of Kinaxis solutions.Maintain industry-leading expertise in supply chain and technology domains to support customer success and innovation.Serve as a thought leader in the supply chain industry by contributing to white papers, case studies, and industry publications that showcase Kinaxis' innovation and expertise.Represent Kinaxis at industry conferences, symposiums, and webinars through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and expert sessions.Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop thought leadership content that aligns with emerging trends and customer challenges.Build and maintain a strong professional presence in the industry through active participation in forums, associations, and digital platforms.What we are looking for10+ years of experience in consulting and/or pre-sales, with a strong background in supply chain management.Deep subject matter expertise in supply chain fundamentals, industry best practices, and SCM/ERP solutions.Graduate degree (MBA or MS) preferred.Proven success working with clients across multiple industries to design and deliver leading supply chain solutions.Knowledge and Experience in industrial manufacturing and process industry is a plus.Strong consultative selling skills; able to effectively position software capabilities and engage stakeholders at all levels.Collaborative mindset with a track record of working across sales, consulting, support, and product teams to drive results.Background in finance or financial acumen is a plus.Credible and experience in leading and managing multiple large and complex projects.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of supply chain solutions to diverse audiences, including customers, internal stakeholders, and executive leadership.Working knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their application in supply chain optimization, including predictive analytics, demand forecasting, anomaly detection, and intelligent automation to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.A valid passport to meet the required domestic and international travel. #senior# LI-MKWork With Impact: Our platform directly helps companies power the world's supply chains.
