Job Title: Polisher / Wooden PainterLocation: Sharjah, UAEKey Responsibilities:Perform surface preparation, sanding, sealing, staining, painting, and polishing on wooden furniture and joinery items.Apply various finishes such as PU, NC, lacquer, stains, and paints to achieve luxury-quality surfaces.Match colors, grains, and shades accurately according to design specifications and sample references.Read and interpret finishing schedules, samples, and technical drawings for precise execution.Ensure flawless finishing quality with meticulous attention to detail at every stage of work.Inspect finished products to meet high craftsmanship standards.Collaborate with carpenters, supervisors, and designers to meet project requirements and client expectations.Maintain tools, spray guns, and polishing equipment in excellent working condition.Adhere to workplace safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Requirements & Skills:Minimum 47 years of experience as a polisher or wooden painter, including at least 23 years in the UAE luxury furniture or fit-out industry.Strong knowledge of PU, NC, polyester, lacquer, stains, and decorative finishes.Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality finishes on luxury furniture and joinery items.Skilled in spray painting, hand polishing, touch-up work, and surface corrections.Familiarity with modern finishing materials, chemicals, and safety procedures.Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to premium finishing standards.Preferred Qualifications:Technical training or certification in polishing or painting.Other Details:Salary: Will be discussed during the interview based on skills and experience.Overtime: As per UAE labor law.Working Hours: 9 hours per day.Working Days: 6 days per week (Sunday off).
