Cloud Infrastructure SpecialistThe role involves designing, automating and deploying cloud-based services. A Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will work with customer engineering teams on a wide variety of cloud projects, including migration, containerization and transformation initiatives.Key responsibilities include:Designing and implementing distributed storage systems including Ceph, ZFS and NFS for use across hybrid and cloud-native environments.Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to storage, networking and container orchestration systems.Implementing monitoring, logging and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus.Collaborating with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.Participating in on-call rotation and incident response.Documenting architectural decisions, standard operating procedures and best practices.Requirements3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure roles.Proficient with Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration.Solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning.Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking and cluster lifecycle management.Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.Desired QualificationsExperience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or RHCSA are a plus.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud technologies and a strong understanding of software development principles.
