Content Editor Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Content Editor to join our team. As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and impact of our website content.The successful candidate will have a strong background in editorial strategy, copyediting, and content development for professional and executive audiences in digital platforms. They will possess excellent grammar, fact-checking, and style guide adherence skills.Key Responsibilities: Edit and polish website content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and impact Adapt writing to fit editorial style guides (Chicago Manual, AP Stylebook, or university-specific) Partner with writers and content marketers to align tone, voice, and accuracy Spot the smallest inconsistencies — grammar slips, formatting errors, or stylistic mismatches Elevate readability and flow, ensuring every word works hard to engage and inform our audience Edit copy keeping in mind SEO best practices without losing editorial integrityRequirements: 5–8 years of experience in editorial roles (consulting/freelance or in-house). Strong background in editorial strategy, copyediting, and content development for professional and executive audiences in digital platforms Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, fact-checking, and style guide adherence.
