And we’re looking for editors who want to build something meaningful, not just “make edits.” The Role As a You Tube Video Editor, you’ll help build one of the internet’s most trusted educational brands for ambitious professionals. You’ll collaborate directly with the creator (Fortune 100 leader, author, systems thinker) to craft videos with clean structure, emotional depth, strong pacing, and high retention. Your work will influence how millions of professionals learn modern communication, leadership, and decision-making. This role is perfect for editors who love combining storytelling with strategy — shaping content that not only performs on You Tube, but elevates the viewer’s thinking and career. Formats include talking-head educational videos, documentary-style storytelling, motion-graphic explainers, short-form highlights, and narrative-driven lessons. What You’ll Do Edit long-form and short-form You Tube videos that deliver clarity, emotional engagement, and strong narrative flow Apply modern You Tube storytelling fundamentals — hooks, pacing, retention cues, and visual grammar Collaborate on script breakdowns, story structure, and editorial decisions Produce clean, polished edits with excellent timing, typography, color, and sound Create light motion graphics, text overlays, charts, and supporting visuals Work inside an “Edit Blueprint” workflow with clear expectations on every section of the script Experiment, improve, and iterate based on performance data Maintain firm's brand style (fonts, color palette, thumbnail design principles) Manage multiple edits with speed, consistency, and attention to detail Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of editing experience for You Tube or other social-first platforms Strong mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects is a major plus Ability to take talking-head content and elevate it through pacing, graphics, and story craft Demonstrated ability to create high-retention content in both long and short formats Understanding of You Tube analytics, retention curves, hook design, titles, and thumbnails Strong storytelling instincts — able to turn raw footage into a clear, emotionally resonant narrative Organized, deadline-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate and accept feedback Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools Fluent in English What You Can Expect A chance to build an elite educational channel from early stages and shape its identity Freedom to propose creative ideas and elevate the editorial style Work directly with a Fortune 100 leader and author with deep storytelling frameworks 100% remote work — collaborate from anywhere Consistent monthly editing workload Compensation Rs. 50,000 - 60000 per month (based on skill, portfolio quality, availability, and format coverage)
