With our support, Publicis Groupe agencies continue to create and deliver award-winning campaigns for their clients.Job Details:Experience/ Qualifications:Law graduate from a reputed university having 5 – 8 years work experience as an in-house legal counsel or working with in-house legal team of well-known companies including:work experience in drafting, reviewing & negotiating different kinds of contracts & other legal documents, Indian laws and specific foreign laws applicable to India, managing corporate litigation matters, company real estate due diligence work etc.strong legal aptitude, eye for detail, high degree of organization and ability to correct understand the exact ask/ requirement & provide required solution.strong analytical skills, research, focus & concentration.strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills (including ability to draft structures emails, advisories & communications).ability to prioritize & meet numerous deadlines.**Note**: Work experience in LPO industry and/ or civil/ criminal litigation practice is not relevant to the requirements for this role and the same will not be considered.Knowledge:Good knowledge of working on services, confidentiality, lease & license, cloud services, technology products, real estate, sale/ purchase agreements – SAAS, API, EULA, particularly in the fields of IT, manpower staffing, digital media, marketing & advertising. Any work experience in digital media, marketing & advertisement industry will be a plus.Strong drafting skills to prepare & draft contracts, legal documents, structured emails & other communication to stakeholders.Strong skills for review and negotiation of contracts and having the ability to close contracts swiftly by not compromising on safeguarding legal interests but being business friendly at the same time.Good working knowledge of Indian laws affecting the company (including Contracts Act, Shops & Establishment Act, Contract Labour Regulation & Abolition Act, Industrial Disputes Act, IT Act, DPDPA Act, POSH Act etc.) and specific foreign laws applicable to India & the services being provided or procured by the company.Ability to manage company litigation matters & coordinate with external attorneys.Ability to analyse risks and complex issues and advise internal business partners appropriately.Ability to conduct research on legal subjects.Other Skills (including technology):High proficiency in English language (speaking, reading & writing)Hands on exposure, experience & working knowledge in Microsoft Office (especially Word & Outlook).Attributes/behaviors:Strong verbal and written communication skills and in particular an ability to comprehend complex commercial contract related queries and review the same.Strong analytical and logical reasoning while reviewing complex legal contracts.Should be team player with good interpersonal skills to support team members, deal with stake holders/ agencies and should also be ready to work as an individual contributor with minimal supervision.
