Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (MERN Stack) at Gigin Technologies. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing web applications using MERN Stack and related technologies.

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional team members to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions.
  • Responsible for driving the technical direction of the platform in line with the product vision.
  • Mentor and coach the juniors in the team

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as backend engineer or Fullstack Engineer in MERN stack or otherwise building highly scalable, robust systems.
  • Good to have: Prior experience in developing and implementing web applications using MERN Stack.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, and Node.js
  • Experience with database technologies like MySQL and MongoDB
  • Familiarity with handling code versioning using Git/Bitbucket
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

BackEnd Skills: Node.js, Typescript, MongoDb, MySQL, Distributed systems, event driven architecture, AWS / GCP, Docker, Kubernetes,
