About the Role:The Indirect Tax Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C, etc.). They will review GST reconciliations (GSTR 2A/2B vs books) and address mismatches. The role also involves monitoring and ensuring Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility and utilization, overseeing RCM compliance and related accounting, and providing tax advisory on business transactions, contracts, and inter/intra-state supplies.Key Responsibilities:Ensuring timely and accurate filing of monthly/quarterly GST returnsReviewing GST reconciliations and addressing mismatchesMonitoring and ensuring Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility and utilizationOversseeing RCM compliance and related accountingProviding tax advisory on business transactions, contracts, and inter/intra-state suppliesAnalyzing the impact of GST amendments, circulars, and notificationsEvaluating implications of reverse charge, job work, e-invoicing, and e-way bill requirementsHandling GST audits by internal, statutory, and departmental auditorsPreparing and managing replies to notices, summons, and queries from tax authoritiesCoordinating with consultants and legal counsel for departmental litigation mattersAbout You:The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Excel and a good understanding of GST. They should have experience in filing GST returns and knowledge of key concepts such as GST Law. Experience in the FMCG, Manufacturing, Automobile, and Service industries is preferred.
