Power BI Reporting Engineer

Position:Power BI Reporting Engineer (Techno-functional)Job Description:What You will Be DoingPosition Overview:The BI Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support Arrow's business insights and analytics needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of business intelligence, data analysis, and visualization principles, with good experience in working with data modeling techniques.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain BI reports, dashboards and data models, to provide actionable business insights.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into data requirements.Integrate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud-based services, into cohesive BI reports.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reports and dashboards.Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive strategic business decisions.Optimize BI solutions for performance and usability.Develop and maintain data models to support efficient querying and reporting.Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use BI tools and reports.Stay updated with the latest BI features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities.What We Are Looking ForQualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis and reportingStrong proficiency in BI tools (preferred Power BI)Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.Understanding of digital business operations and metrics.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.Azure Databricks familiarity or prior useExperience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik – preferred Power BI).Experience with extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of Salesforce data into BI systemsFamiliarity with scripting languages like Python or R.Understanding of machine learning and predictive analytics.What's In It for YouOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and innovative projects.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Career growth and professional development opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.If you are passionate about data and have a knack for transforming complex information into actionable insights, we would love to hear from you.
