Will likely lead and manage initiatives and the database solutions design for projectsInstall and Deploy databasesResponsible for the management of databases, apply upgrades and patches and migrate to new versions of the DBMSCreate and execute Backup and Recovery plans.Interacts with Enterprise Architecture in areas such as capacity planning, data architecture and research of new technologies.Sets departmental standards and guidelines for all DBA services.Involved in the creation of logical and physical data models for new database designResponsible for implementing security plans and enforcing security requirementsBackground from previous steps with more advanced database design, data modeling and project leadership skills.Adhere to SOX and Kelly Services policies as it pertains to data security, access and confidentiality. Also responsible for creating and modifying said policiesKnowledge of Database Management Systems such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL ServerKnowledge of multiple platforms, and operating systemsUnderstanding of High Availability solutionsUnderstanding of backup and recovery plans and processes
