We're a tech company creating innovative solutions.As a senior data engineer, you'll design and implement IT solutions that drive business results in today's hyper-connected world.The ideal candidate will translate data models into production-ready pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and performance at scale.This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from the US.Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop data pipelines for batch and real-time data ingestion into AWS services.Migrate data from legacy systems to target AWS data stores (Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift).Builddata-driven applications using Kafka, Kafka Connect, and/or AWS Kinesis/EventBridge.You'll collaborate with development teams to design optimal data storage solutions, optimize pipeline performance, monitoring, and alerting for reliability and scalability, and partner with the Data Architect to translate logical data models into physical implementations.Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.7+ years of experience in data engineering with at least 3+ years in senior or lead roles.Strong proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:AWS certifications, such as Developer, DevOps Engineer, or Data Analytics Specialty.Experience with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions.
