The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the firm's equity capital market strategy.Responsibilities include managing initial public offerings (IPOs), follow-on public offerings (FPOs), qualified institutional placements (QIPs), and other capital-raising initiatives. This involves originating mandates through relationships with corporates and investors, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, overseeing transaction execution, and building investor relations.A key aspect of this position is cultivating relationships with promoters, private equity funds, and family offices to generate new business opportunities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing investor collateral, engaging with foreign institutional investors (FIIs), domestic institutional investors (DIIs), mutual funds (MFs), and managing roadshows.Frequent monitoring of equity markets, volatility, and sector performance is essential to make informed investment decisions. Additionally, the incumbent will prepare pitch books and market commentary for internal advisors and clients, leveraging their strong understanding of capital markets.Strong financial modeling and valuation skills are necessary for success in this role. A deep understanding of IPOs, QIPs, and listing processes is also required. Preferably, candidates will have a background in Investment Banking/ECM with at least 15 years of experience.
