Job Description for Cloud Platform ExpertThe role of Cloud Platform Engineer is a critical component of the IT cloud infrastructure services team, responsible for managing, operating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure on GCP, AWS, and Azure platforms.The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud principles and services, specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure. They should be familiar with Terraform for defining and managing infrastructure as code (IaC), Ansible or other CM tools for configuration management and automation, and DataDog or similar for monitoring system performance.Key responsibilities include implementing and managing infrastructure, automating configuration management, monitoring and optimizing performance, collaborating across teams, and innovating and improving DevOps processes.Successful candidates will have excellent problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest Cloud Platform tools and practices.This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, collaborate with a talented team, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
