System Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth operation of our cloud environment, maintaining high levels of availability, security, and performance. To achieve this, you will need to monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard our cloud environments. This includes administering company SaaS platforms to enhance user productivity, focusing on tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.You will collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments. Furthermore, you will provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and other team members.To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
