Endocrinologist Specialist Role OverviewThe specialist physician shares responsibility with the consultant physician for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care within their division.This role is ideal for a skilled professional seeking to provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.Patient Care: Conduct thorough patient evaluations, take detailed medical histories, order diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans for injuries, illnesses, and disorders within the specialty.Treatment and Procedures: Prescribe medication, administer therapy, or other specialized medical care as needed, and perform necessary procedures/surgeries related to the specialty.Collaboration and Consultation: Liaise with other medical specialists, departments, and support services to ensure integrated patient care.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of clinical information in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Quality Improvement and Research: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities to enhance patient safety and care standards.Supervision and Education: Provide guidance and supervision to junior medical staff, residents, and students.Key Responsibilities:Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.Prescribe medication and administer therapy.Liaise with other medical specialists and departments.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent.Post-graduate training in the relevant specialization.A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience post-specialization.Valid Department of Health (DOH) license or eligibility letter to practice in Abu Dhabi.Evidence of current, valid license from the country of last or current practice.Certificate of Good Standing from the relevant licensing authority.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
