We are hiring for a Senior Software Engineer, for our India team, within our Customer practice.  The role is responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Senior Business Analysts to capture customers' business processes and desired outcomes. The Senior Software Engineer will manage customer outcomes on complex level, enterprise projects.   We are #GoingBeyond  Come join our crewWhat You Will Be DoingAssist Pre-Sales team with scoping service engagements involving multiple ServiceNow products.Serve as the primary technical point-of-contact for projects and represent the engineering team to the customer.Define technical solutions aligned with client's business problems and ServiceNow best practices.Write and estimate Stories, monitor engineers' work, and ensure quality and delivery of development.Conduct demos, deliver documentation, and facilitate knowledge transfer activities.Collaborate with Project Managers to address scope creep and resolve technical issues.Work with Pre-sales and project managers to minimize unnecessary customization and technical debt.Draft and publish technical and process documentation within the company repository.Facilitate customer workshops to capture and define customer requirements.Research industry trends to propose product enhancements for NewRocket.Provide engineers with architectural blueprints and requirements for implementations.What You Bring Along4-6 years of experience in application development at a SaaS, PaaS, or Enterprise Software Development Company.3+ years of ServiceNow Platform Experience Experience with CSM, FSM, FSO product areas on the ServiceNow Platform.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex situations.Fundamental understanding of the CSM data model.Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPSProficiency with documentation software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Proven ability to lead the development and delivery of ServiceNow solutions in client environments.Knowledge of ITIL and ServiceNow-specific certifications.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.Strong scripting skills in the ServiceNow platform.Education & CertificationsBA/BS degree in Business Administration or technology related field preferred, or equivalent experienceServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required, current or obtain within 6 months.Certified Implementation Specialist (specific domain area) required, current or obtain within 6 monthsServiceNow Pre-sales accreditationsServiceNow Micro-certs, nice to haveWe Take Care of Our People NewRocket is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. We value and celebrate diversity, believing that every employee matters and should be respected and heard.  We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and affirmative action employer, committed to providing employment opportunity regardless of sex, race, creed, color, gender, religion, marital status, domestic partner status, age, national origin, or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, pregnancy, citizenship, military, or Veteran status. For individuals with disabilities who would like to request an accommodation, please contact
