Job Title: Oracle Functional Finance ConsultantJob Summary:This is a dynamic and challenging role for an experienced Oracle Functional Finance Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle ERP (Fusion or EBS) and expertise in core finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Tax Management.The successful candidate will lead and support financial process optimization, system configuration, and end-user enablement in Oracle ERP. This includes collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and analyze finance process requirements, configuring and maintaining Oracle Financial modules, mapping business processes to Oracle functionalities, developing functional specification documents, and conducting system testing.Responsibilities:Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze finance process requirementsConfigure and maintain Oracle Financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Tax ManagementMap business processes for P2P, O2C, and R2R cycles to Oracle functionalitiesDevelop functional specification documents, BRDs, and configuration workbooksLead Data Conversions, Mappings, FUT and own all the Finance related objects for opening balances, AP/AR transactions, assetsCoordinate with technical teams on integrationsConduct system testing and support User Acceptance TestingTroubleshoot and resolve functional issues; manage Oracle SRs for defect resolutionProvide end-user training and create process documentationSupport month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close activitiesDevelop and execute test plans to ensure quality deliverablesQualifications:7+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Finance Consultant (Fusion or EBS)Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP / IFRS)Hands-on experience configuring GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Credit Management and Tax modulesExperience with financial reporting tools (FRS, OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View)Understanding of financial integrations with third-party systemsExcellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skillsTeam Player working with all internal and external stakeholders including vendor partnersStrong communication skills to interact with stakeholders
