Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer II Conduct thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing, to identify defects and ensure the stability of the softwareDevelop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios to ensure the functional correctness and usability of the EHR systemDocument and track software defects, verifying bug fixes, and ensuring they are properly resolvedCollaborate with developers, Scrum Master, PO, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverageContribute to test planning activities, including test strategy, test estimation, and test environment setupParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing input on user stories, acceptance criteria, and testability of featuresQualifications of the Quality Engineer IIBachelor's degree in Computer Sc, Software Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience in manual testing of web-based applicationsExperience with test case management tools and defect tracking systemsExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environmentsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Quality Engineer IIStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving development issuesEffective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsStrong understanding of testing methodologies and techniquesGood understanding of software development life cycle and software testing processesUnderstanding of Selenium or any other automation tools is a plusBasic understanding of databases with querying capabilities is a plusQualifacts is an equal opportunity employer.
