We are looking for a Deputy Manager Finance with 2-4 years of experience post to article ship to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for leveraging financial data to drive strategic decision-making. As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly divisional financials for entities.
- Monthly books closure and reconciliation of MIS with the books.
- Strong in preparation of monthly MIS and review of the monthly divisional income statement.
- Reconciliation of variance with the projections and identifying the reason for the same.
- Analysis of historical financial statements and review of key business trends.
- Identifying key business drivers/performance indicators and issues impacting EBITDA, working capital, net debt, cash flow, and business valuation.
- Performing financial due diligence procedures on Target and identifying issues relevant for assessing the impact on the transaction.
- Gathering, verifying, and analyzing information, formulating views and conclusions, and driving this process.
- Participating in the preparation of deliverables, including reports, presentations to the board, and discussions with the Target.
- Regular liaison with the target, diligence team, and various internal teams for the execution of the deal.
- Streamlining various financial processes (revenues, expenses, payments, etc.) of prospective acquisition entities and integrating them into the processes of the holding entity.
- Monitoring performance post-acquisition.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting with Statutory auditing experience.
- Post article ship experience of 2-4 years of progressive experience in Accounting and Bookkeeping roles.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with expertise in financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and financial management systems; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, identify opportunities, and drive results.
