Role - AGM/DGM Substation Engineering (Electrical)

Role Summary

Mid and senior level career professionals having work experience of 12-15 years in substation design & engineering. Majorly the incumbent should be well versed in substation basic and detailed engineering, particularly in the field of AIS and GIS substation of 400kV and above with a sound knowledge of Power System.

Reporting Manager - Chief Design Officer / Other Work Relations

Asset Management team (AM), Merger & Acquisition Team (M&A), Bidding and Project Management (PM) team.

Role Grade - GM2/GM3

Role Position CEO-2

Role’s Key Responsibilities

▪ Prepare, review, and update substation tender estimation, BOQ and technical proposals

▪ Prepare and review tender stage drawings layout and SLD

▪ Assist the Bidding team during tendering stage with all the requirements, collecting data, pre-bid query, land requirement, BOQ optimization and performing other RfP specific substation task

▪ Prepare, review, update and provide technical support for substation technical due diligence

▪ Prepare, review, and update RCA for operational problems in Substation

▪ Review of test reports like DGA, BDV, Furan, LIRA and thermography and annual maintenance test results to ensure compliance with statutory regulations

▪ Advise asset management and operation team about standard operating procedures

▪ Well versed in detailed engineering calculations like sag tension, short circuit force, overhead conductor sizing, DG sizing, auxiliary transformer sizing, earthing calculation and LV/MV power cable sizing.

▪ Well versed in power system analysis like insulation coordination, relay coordination and protection system.

▪ Prepare, review, and update the substation layout drawings

▪ Knowledge of quality assurance documentation and procedures

▪ Proficient math & spreadsheet skills and the ability to utilize those skills quickly

▪ Brilliant analytical and problem-solving skills

▪ Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience of recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.

▪ Strong knowledge of grid code and standard utility practice

▪ Relevant knowledge of Solar and Energy storage system (AC side).

Travel Requirements - Occasional – about 20% of time

Base location - Noida
