CAD Design Engineer Position OverviewThis role is responsible for the design and development of CAD systems.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled CAD Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing CAD systems that meet the needs of our clients.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop CAD systems that meet customer requirements.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that CAD systems meet business needs.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements.Develop and maintain technical documentation for CAD systems.Provide technical support and training to end-users.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance CAD system performance and efficiency.Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.At least 5 years of experience in CAD/Methodology/EDA team of a reputable VLSI-based company.Strong understanding of VLSI design flows and PD CAD.Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, Python, Tcl for automation and flow development.Familiarity with EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics etc.Understanding of latest advancements in VLDI design methodology and EDA tools.Familiarity with basic flows for PD, STA, Synthesis etc.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to clearly articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audience.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:Opportunities for career growth and professional development.Collaborative and dynamic work environment.Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance.
