Job Title: CAD Design SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled and creative professional to join our dynamic team as a CAD Design Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to utilize advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Rhino, and Parametric Sheet Metal, to create 2D and 3D models, drawings, and prototypes.About the RoleMain Responsibilities:Develop detailed designs for various projects using CAD software, adhering to industry standards and best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and translate concepts into technical drawings and models.Ensure accuracy and precision in all design work, identifying potential issues or areas for improvement.Conduct thorough reviews of design prototypes, generating detailed documentation and specifications as needed.Participate in design reviews and team meetings to provide input and feedback on design concepts and project timelines.Stay updated on the latest advancements in CAD technology and design methodologies, enhancing skills and knowledge.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during the development and production phases.Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure seamless transition from design to production.Required Skills and QualificationsEssential Skills:Bachelor's degree in architecture or related fields.Proven experience working as a CAD Designer, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Rhino, and Parametric Sheet Metal software, with strong skills in 2D drafting and 3D modeling.Excellent understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing design challenges.Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems is a plus.Degree Requirements:Bachelor's degree in architecture or related fields.Desirable Qualifications:Certification in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Rhino, and Parametric Sheet Metal is preferred.
