Role Overview:This role will drive digital transformation and process efficiency for HR at Chola Finance. The focus is on analyzing existing HR processes, championing automation and digital adoption, managing technology projects, and serving as the interface between HR and IT teams. Your strategic insights on automation, “buy vs. build” technology decisions, and digital culture-building will directly shape Chola’s employee experience and HR outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Analyze HR processes to identify automation opportunities, differentiating between value-added and non-value-added activities to reduce cycle time and improve workforce efficiency.Research the market and competitors to evaluate digital trends and cutting-edge HR solutions, providing leadership with strategic recommendations for “buy vs. build” decisions.Oversee all phases of HR technology projects, including:Creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD)Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Managing phased go-livesDeveloping, tracking, and presenting project timelines and progress to the leadership team.Liaise between HR and IT for application and HRMS rollouts, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and smooth implementation of new tools and systems.Lead communication initiatives to build a digital mindset within the organization, connecting with leaders and driving change management efforts.Monitor and measure effectiveness of HR technologiesTracking application usage and key performance indicatorsManaging helpdesk support for HR applicationsEnsuring query resolution within agreed turnaround times (TAT).Collecting periodic user feedback for process-gap identification and improvements.Champion employee experience by reducing HR process cycle times through process reengineering and automation. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business Administration or related field10+ years of experience in HR process automation, HRIS/HR technology, or project management in HRProven experience in HR process mapping, automation assessment, and project management (BRD, UAT, go-lives)Ability to differentiate value-added vs. non-value-added HR activitiesKnowledge of HRMS platforms, HR analytics, and change management best practicesStrong project management and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to synthesize market data and benchmark industry practices for digital adoptionExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
