Job DescriptionAs a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and validating general ledgers, invoices, payroll journals, contracts, and other accounting and financial records from clients.You will prepare accurate cost reports using existing Microsoft Excel automated templates, review and validate cost reports prepared by other team members to ensure correctness and consistency, and prepare tax credit and grant forms.In addition, you will review tax credit filings prepared by accountants for accuracy and consistency, assist management with collecting government grant information and creating financial reports using Microsoft Excel, and proofread documents prepared by other team members.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 2-year work experience in a similar business management position, excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to solicit the right information from clients, and excellent attention to details and the ability to spot inconsistencies and inaccuracies.You will also need high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, quick learning skills to understand business process planning, implementation, and tracking, good organizational skills to work on multiple projects at the same time, occasionaly with strict deadlines, and an outgoing, positive, proactive, and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.BenefitsThis role offers opportunities for career advancement, a dynamic work environment, and a chance to work with a growing consulting organization.Additional InformationThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
