Role & Responsibilities
Develop, lead, & execute procurement strategies
Prepare negotiation strategies & close deals with optimal terms
Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
Examine and test existing contracts
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness
Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
Creation of vendor base/master across different zones
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
Assess, manage, and mitigate purchase risks
Assist in procurement process design
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and supplier
Ensuring regular monitoring of the project budget
Delegating tasks to junior staff
Regularly contacting suppliers to renegotiate prices.
Resolving disputes & claims with vendors and suppliers
Creating BOQ estimates based on set drawings and further preparing a detailed budget for the same.
Conduct market analysis to know the current rates of the materials
Monitoring and controlling the cost of projects from concept to completion.
Have knowledge of vendors/suppliers and provide support for comparative and analysis in vendor selection as needed.
Periodic analysis of the status of projects with respect to cost and analysis of alternative solutions to manage project budgets
Maintain all the documents for total compliance related to design, contractors, legal and other matters as per company standards.
Manage all activities related to mechanical, engineering, and plumbing in terms of planning, designing, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, and final handover.
Understand, collect, and deliver clients’ MEP requirements.
Support the design manager in MEP to schedule or plan establishment, value engineer, and design change management.
Lead Contract Award Process – MEP Works, Formulation of Contract Documents, Request for Proposals (RFP), Bid Evaluation, Negotiations, Management Approval, Assist the contract manager in MEP-related procurement and VO management.
Support the construction manager in MEP-related installation, site inspection, and contractor management.
Ensure effective management and successful execution of all phases of a project—from initiating, designing, planning, controlling, executing monitoring, and closing.
Identify and take note of clients’ needs and figure out what exactly needs to be done. This involves defining the scope of the work and expected outcome, while also detailing all the necessary objectives to get there.
Keep tabs on company resources used in the projects and allocate resources to complete the project within the budget.
Help clients organize and analyze all tender and procurement for all contractors and suppliers and represent them from the beginning to the end of a project.
Identify any potential risks in the MEP field and report them to the Project Manager. It will be critical to design a risk management and solution provision, particularly to identify health & safety issues.

Strong knowledge of the commercial fit-out industry

Floating RFQs to vendors
Arranging quotations from suppliers
Quotation Analysis
Issuance of purchase order
Familiar with HVAC, electrical engineering, and BMS
Knowledge of security systems, AV systems, and IT systems
Excellent communication skills
Determine the quantity and timing of deliveries
Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
Excellent PC skills – Advance MS office
Clear understanding of basic accounting/ finance reporting and practices
Strong communication and presentation skills
Good knowledge of suppliers, market trends, bidding process & negotiation

Experience (Years) required
05 -10 years of relevant experience in Interior Management Company/ commercial fit-out industry

Qualification
Degree in Civil or in MEP engineering-related discipline or related field
