Senior Hardware Development ManagerWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Hardware Development Manager to spearhead our product development lifecycle. As the lead, you will be responsible for defining initial architecture, ensuring successful manufacturing, and managing technical execution, quality, timeline, and budget across multiple projects.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & ExecutionEnd-to-End Ownership: Define the complete hardware development cycle, including system architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout guidance, component selection, prototyping, and validation.Design for Manufacturing (DFx): Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT) practices to ensure production readiness, reliability, and cost optimization.Embedded Firmware: Provide technical leadership and hands-on contributions to Embedded C/C++ firmware development, focusing on integration, driver development, and RTOS/bare-metal implementation.Validation & Testing: Define and execute rigorous hardware validation plans, including bench testing, environmental testing, and compliance readiness.Project Management & Client ServiceClient Interface: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, translating complex requirements into clear executable technical specifications and project plans.Scope Management: Proactively identify and manage technical risks scope changes, and timeline adjustments communicating impacts clearly and professionally to stakeholders.Supply Chain Strategy: Work closely with procurement to manage the Bill of Materials, mitigate supply chain risks, and identify suitable second sources.Mentorship & Process ImprovementReview and approve designs, testing methodologies, and technical documentation created by junior engineers or partners.Establish and continuously improve internal design standards, documentation practices, and DFM checklists.
