Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)


Job Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for the financial planning, risk

management, and oversight of all financial actions in the organization. As a member of the

executive team, the CFO will lead the finance department, ensuring both compliance and

strategic support in achieving the company’s financial goals. This role requires a seasoned

financial leader who can drive business growth, financial stability, and profitability through

the sound management of resources and data-driven insights.


Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):

Cash Flow Management

Oversee and optimize the organization’s cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet

operating needs. Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts, and analyze financial risk

related to cash flow. Develop cash flow strategies and forecasts that align with overall

business goals.

Accurate & Timely Data Entry Management

Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial data, utilizing financial management systems

and reporting tools. Maintain financial records, transactions, and reports, guaranteeing

accuracy and compliance. Implement systems to track and audit data entry for quality

control purposes.

Preparation of Financial Documents

Oversee the preparation and presentation of all financial documents, including but not

limited to, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and quarterly/annual

reports. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial documentation aligns with

business activities. Provide financial reports in a timely manner for management and

stakeholders.

Monitor Financial Performance Indicators (KPIs), Planning & Strategizing

Track key financial performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, profit margins,

operating costs, and return on investments (ROI). Lead the annual budgeting process and

quarterly financial forecasting efforts. Identify trends, variances, and potential risks, and

provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.

Data & Insights for Actionable Steps

Analyze financial data to provide valuable insights and support to decision-makers across

the business. Work closely with other executives and departments to interpret financial

information and develop action plans for optimization. Use predictive models to provide

forecasts and drive long-term financial strategies.

Statutory Obligations

Ensure the organization complies with all statutory obligations, including tax, legal, and

regulatory requirements. Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as

necessary. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial legislation, and ensure the

organization meets its financial obligations.

Financial, Managerial, and Tax Accounting

Supervise and guide the financial, managerial, and tax accounting processes. Oversee the

preparation and submission of tax filings, ensuring compliance with all tax laws and

regulations. Lead efforts to implement best practices in financial controls, audits, and

compliance.

Risk Management & Financial Controls

Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks within the organization. Develop and implement

internal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets and ensure compliance with

financial regulations. Lead financial audits and manage the relationship with external

auditors.

Investment & Funding Management

Manage capital structure and make decisions regarding investments and funding strategies.

Analyze the financial feasibility of potential investments and present recommendations to

the executive team. Oversee relationships with lenders, investors, and financial institutions.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Provide training and development opportunities to ensure the team stays current with best

practices and industry changes. Drive a culture of continuous improvement in financial

processes and procedures.


Qualifications:

- **Education**: A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

(MBA) is preferred.

- **Certifications**: CA, CFA, or equivalent professional certifications.

- **Experience**: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance

role, ideally in the Textiles & Apparels Industry.

- **Skills**: Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities, proficiency with financial

management software, excellent analytical and communication skills, and in-depth
