Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Equity Partner
Location : Remote
Company Overview :

We are FinSocial Digital Systems , a fast-growing organization in the consulting space with a focus on driving innovation in financial, digital, and AI-driven solutions. We are seeking a strategic and highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and capital-raising efforts.

Please note: This is an equity-only position. If you are looking for a salary, please do not apply. We are looking for a business partner who will help grow the company and share in the equity of the business.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing funding, building financial strategies, and scaling operations in consulting firms or related sectors.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Capital Raising :
  • Lead all aspects of capital raising, including venture capital, private equity, and debt financing.
  • Develop and manage relationships with investors, venture capitalists, private equity firms, and other funding sources.
  • Prepare financial models, pitch decks, and presentations to secure investments.
  • Manage the fundraising process, including due diligence, term sheet negotiations, and deal structuring.
  1. Strategic Financial Leadership :
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s business objectives and long-term growth.
  • Provide financial guidance to the executive team and board, ensuring sound decision-making based on financial data.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to align with growth and fundraising strategies.
  • Analyze and improve the company’s capital structure to optimize performance and liquidity.
  1. Financial Reporting and Compliance :
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal financial controls.
  • Manage tax strategy, compliance, and reporting.
  1. Partnership with Business Development :
  • Collaborate with the business development team to identify and assess new growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with external partners and consultants on mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  1. Operational Efficiency :
  • Oversee cash flow management and ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Optimize the company's financial performance, ensuring profitability, and aligning with company goals.
Qualifications :
  1. Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or similar leadership role.
  2. Demonstrable experience in raising capital (equity and debt) in venture-backed startups, consulting firms, or similar industries.
  3. Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and fundraising processes.
  4. Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  5. Excellent negotiation skills, with experience handling term sheets, investor relations, and deal structuring.
  6. Experience in developing and executing financial strategies for scaling businesses.
  7. Strong leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  8. Professional qualifications such as a CPA, CFA, or MBA in finance are a plus.
Preferred Experience :
  1. Experience in the consulting industry or working with high-growth companies.
  2. Established network with venture capital, private equity, or angel investors.
  3. Track record of leading successful fundraising initiatives.

  1. Equity-Only Compensation : This role offers no salary but includes a significant equity stake in the company. You will share in the growth and success of the business through ownership in the company.
