Key Responsibilities:Job Description:Enterprise data platform administrators are sought after to design and maintain Databricks platforms on cloud services. In this role, you will work in an agile environment with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.Responsibilities:Implement and maintain the Databricks platform by setting up workspace configurations, managing users, controlling access, and configuring security settings.Provide technical support to data engineering, data science, and application teams. Troubleshoot service issues, resolve platform-related problems, and perform data restores and recoveries.Install, configure, and maintain Databricks clusters and workspaces. Monitor cluster performance, resource utilization, and platform costs.Develop and manage access controls and security policies to safeguard sensitive data. Ensure compliance with relevant data governance and regulatory requirements.Establish connections between Databricks and other data sources like Snowflake. Optimize data pipelines and workflows.Create automation scripts and tools for platform provisioning using Terraform.Required Skills:At least 3 years of production support experience for the Databricks platform.Terraform, AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services, Databricks administration expertise.AWS IAM, VPC, private endpoints, firewalls, S3 knowledge on how Databricks integrates with them.MLflow, Workflows, Databricks Asset Bundles proficiency.Databricks REST API: Automation, scripting, and integration skills.dbx CLI: CI/CD integration expertise.Delta Live Tables (DLT): Managing streaming and batch pipelines skills.SQL + PySpark skills for debugging and support.
