Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Lead Generation and Sales Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating, nurturing, and converting leads into long-term clients, particularly in the patent and intellectual property space. You will work closely with the marketing and business development teams to build and optimize a sales funnel that targets businesses and individuals needing patent services.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize lead generation strategies through digital and offline channels.
  • Leverage tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Ads, and email marketing to attract potential clients.
  • Research target industries, businesses, and key decision-makers (CTOs, legal heads, R&D managers, etc.) who may require patent and other IP services.
  • Build, maintain, and regularly update comprehensive lead lists with relevant contact information, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members to create targeted campaigns and content (e.g., blogs, webinars, newsletters) that drive leads.

2. Lead Nurturing:

  • Qualify leads generated from marketing efforts by assessing their potential and fit for the firm.
  • Initiate outreach and follow-up communications via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Build strong relationships with leads by understanding their needs, presenting the firm’s services, and offering tailored solutions.

3. Sales Conversion:

  • Move leads through the sales funnel, scheduling consultations, meetings, and presentations.
  • Prepare and send proposals, and follow up to answer queries and concerns.
  • Close deals by negotiating terms and finalizing agreements, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients.

4. Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Use CRM tools like HubSpot to manage the entire sales pipeline, tracking each lead from initial contact to final conversion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, lead interactions, and deal progress.
  • Regularly report on lead generation, sales conversion rates, and pipeline health to management.

5. Strategy and Optimization:

  • Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement in the lead generation and sales process.
  • Maintain reports on the effectiveness of campaigns and to refine targeting strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify new sales opportunities and potential clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in a legal services, consulting, or IP-related industry.
  • Proficiency in Lead Generation Tools: Experience with platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hunter.io, Google Ads, and CRM systems like HubSpot is essential.
  • Sales Process Understanding: Strong understanding of the sales funnel and ability to manage leads through different stages of the sales cycle, from awareness to closing.
  • Client-Centric Mindset: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and understand their unique needs.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and generate actionable insights to improve lead generation and sales processes.
  • Self-Starter: Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for performance goals.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, law, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the intellectual property or legal services sector.
  • Knowledge of patent services, IP law, or technical fields related to patents.
  • Experience in digital marketing strategies, including content marketing and SEO, is a plus.
