Cloud Infrastructure Manager Job DescriptionLead a team of Cloud Network Engineers and drive technical excellence in cloud infrastructure management.Design, install, maintain and manage cloud network infrastructure to ensure high availability, flexibility, and performance.Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategies for optimizing cloud infrastructure performance and reducing costs.Oversee the creation of detailed documentation and reports on cloud infrastructure performance and capacity planning.Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, evaluate their performance and identify areas for improvement.Develop and implement metrics to measure cloud infrastructure performance and assess risks and business impact.Create solution presentations and deliver proposals related to cloud infrastructure strategy and architecture.Requirements:At least 8 plus years of experience in designing, implementing and maintaining data center networks.Strong understanding of WAN & routing technologies, security technologies, switching and network monitoring protocols.Good knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) technologies, preferably hands-on experience with VMware NSX or Juniper Contrail/Tungsten.Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly narrow down and resolve complex problems.Highly motivated individual who can demonstrate effective project management and completion of complex tasks.Key Skills and QualificationsTechnical Skills:Experience with cloud-based infrastructure management platforms.Knowledge of cloud-based security solutions and protocols.Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools.Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Soft Skills:Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
