The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all student-related policies and procedures are compliant with the applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation requirements.To achieve this, the Student Legal and Compliance Manager will be responsible for:Monitoring and interpreting relevant legislation, as well as developing and implementing policies to ensure compliance.Providing guidance on contracts, enrollment agreements, disciplinary procedures, and grievances related to students.Overseeing investigations, hearings, sanctions, and reporting in relation to student conduct.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, as well as preparing compliance reports as required.Drafting, reviewing, and updating policies, codes of conduct, and compliance manuals to ensure they are effective and relevant.This position requires a strong understanding of education laws, compliance standards, and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills.The following qualifications and experience are essential:Bachelor's degree in Law, Compliance, Public Policy, or a related field.No less than 15 years of experience in legal, compliance, or student affairs roles, preferably within higher education or regulatory agencies.The successful candidate will possess high emotional intelligence, confidentiality, and professionalism, with a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
