Crystal Solutions is a leading international recruitment service provider with 30 years of experience.We are currently seeking an experienced Power BI developer to work with one of our prestigious clients in Cochin, India.Details of the opportunity are as follows:Position: Senior Power BI Developer – Reporting and Data Visualization SpecialistJob Type: Full-Time (Onsite-Cochin)Experience: 8-10 YearsPreferred Joining Date: Immediate to 30 DaysRole Overview:We are looking for an experienced Power BI developer with strong skills in reporting, data visualization, and data integration. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of relevant experience designing scalable Power BI solutions and working with data warehouse systems to enable seamless data integration and transformation.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business requirements.Utilize Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service to build scalable BI solutions supporting various business functions.Perform data modeling and data mapping to support accurate and meaningful reporting.Automate and optimize reporting workflows for timely delivery of insights.Integrate and manage data from various sources including Snowflake, SQL databases, and cloud platforms.Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and convert complex data into actionable visualizations.Utilize Microsoft Fabric components to build scalable data pipelines and manage data integration.Ensure data quality, governance, and security throughout the data lifecycle in Microsoft Fabric environments.Develop ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various business systems into BI platforms.Work with SQL and relational databases to optimize data for reporting and analytics.Partner with stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams to align BI solutions with business objectives.Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to users to enhance Power BI adoption.Stay updated with the latest advancements in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and BI best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, data science, or related field.8-10 years of proven experience in Power BI reporting, dashboard development, and data modelling.Strong expertise in data modelling, data mapping, and integration techniques.Strong skills in DAX, Power Query M, and data modelling concepts.Experience with SQL and relational database management.Good understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Preferred Skills:Experience with Azure Data Services such as Azure Synapse or Azure Data Factory.Knowledge of Python or R for data analytics and automation.Microsoft Power BI, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric certifications.
