Bookkeeper PositionWe are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team in a full-time, remote role.The ideal candidate will have 2–3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, with a strong focus on UK-based work and proficiency in Xero.Daily bookkeeping using Xero involves recording and categorising expenses, petty cash, and receipts, raising and generating invoices, ensuring correct reconciliation, linking and reconciling bank feeds, Stripe, PayPal and other platforms, attaching invoices and documents to Xero entries with accurate references, and regularly reconciling transactions to keep books up to date.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the invoice process from creation to tracking and payment, ensuring compliance with UK financial regulations and HMRC guidelines, keeping digital finance files tidy and accessible, and supporting accountant as needed for VAT, year-end, and reporting.Requirements include AAT qualification or completion of a recognised UK bookkeeping course, strong knowledge of UK tax rules, expense categories, and accounting standards, high organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to allocate Stripe payments accurately, work well independently, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally.What We OfferA competitive monthly salary based on experienceOngoing support, training, and developmentA calm, supportive team with clear systemsOpportunity to grow into a senior finance role over time
