This position is critical in ensuring the quality, performance, and maintainability of our local developments and programs.ResponsibilitiesEnsure all programs and routines adhere to coding standards, naming conventions, and industry best practices.Perform comprehensive peer reviews to enhance reliability, performance, and maintainability of core banking customizations.Review subroutines, batch jobs, and local developments for correctness, robustness, and effective error handling.Validate file operations, ensuring proper locking, retry logic, and data integrity.Check compatibility and correctness of functions, statements, and syntax across T24 release versions.Review and optimize complex database queries, analyzing performance impact based on table and dataset volumes.Assess performance implications of developed solutions and recommend improvements.Evaluate code readability, design, and complexity; suggest refactoring when required.Ensure proper logging, data validation, archival mechanisms, and exception handling, especially for financial transactions and interfaces.Verify presence and quality of unit and functional tests to minimize regression risk before deployment.Provide constructive feedback and mentor junior developers, contributing to continuous improvement of coding guidelines.Ensure alignment with T24 standards and internal development policies.Apply core banking and basic accounting knowledge during code review.Understand core routines and identify opportunities for performance enhancement.
