Research Engineer – Generative AIAs a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, training, and optimizing large language models and high-performance inference systems.You will build and optimize LLM training and inference pipelines on cloud GPUs, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.Generate curate and maintain datasets for pretraining and fine-tuning, utilizing your expertise in data curation and annotation.Implement improve transformer architectures attention positional encodings MoE, pushing the boundaries of what is possible with these cutting-edge technologies.Optimize inference using FlashAttention PagedAttention KV caches serving frameworks like vLLM sglang, delivering fast and efficient results.Collaborate with research and product teams to design experiments analyze results and ship improvements, driving innovation and growth within our organization.You should have strong Python skills and solid software engineering practices, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.Hands-on experience with LLM training and inference, including proficiency with PyTorch or JAX.Experience with Hugging Face libraries transformers trl accelerate, leveraging their power to drive business outcomes.Experience training on cloud-hosted GPUs and with distributed mixed-precision training, ensuring scalability and efficiency.Strong understanding of transformer internals attention positional encodings MoE, with a passion for continued learning and professional development.Familiarity with writing prompts tool definitions and managing context for LLMs in real applications langchain pydantic smolagents, applying your knowledge to drive business impact.About this role: We are looking for an experienced Research Engineer who can join our team and help us drive innovation and growth.
