AI Researcher: Large Language Models for Medical Imaging

Generative AI Model SpecialistThis role requires a deep understanding of machine learning, neural networks, and generative modeling techniques.Key Responsibilities:Develop new large language models (LLMs) for medical imaging applications.Implement methods that improve training efficiency and extend or improve LLM capabilities in image-to-text generation using medical data.Perform data preprocessing, indexing, and feature engineering specific to healthcare image and text data.Stay updated with the latest research literature and think beyond the state of the art to address user needs.Requirements:At least 3 years of full-time industry experience.Hands-on experience in contemporary AI, including training generative AI models like LLMs and image-to-text models, improving upon pre-trained models, evaluating these models, and implementing feedback loops.Specialized expertise in model fine-tuning, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and LLM tool usage.Experience with LLM prompt engineering and familiarity with LLM-based workflows/architectures.Proficiency in Python, PySpark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Transformer, and cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Vertex AI or similar platforms.Ability to collaborate with software engineers to integrate generative models into production systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency of deployed models.Effective data visualization approaches and a keen eye for detail in visual communication of findings.
