Position: AccountantLocation: Maruthi Layout, Dasarahalli, Bengaluru- 560024Industry: ConstructionExperience: Minimum 2 years – Maximum 5 yearsQualification: B.Com / M.Com or equivalentJoin our Team Apply on virtuteconstruction@gmail.comJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a proven track record in the construction industry to handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support project cost tracking. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple project accounts simultaneously.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and vendor payments.Manage project-wise cost tracking, budgeting, and expense monitoring.Prepare and maintain cash flow statements, ledgers, and MIS reports.Coordinate with procurement and project teams for material & labour billing.Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance, including timely filing of returns.Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.Reconcile supplier & subcontractor accounts and resolve discrepancies.Assist management in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Key Requirements:Mandatory: Prior experience in Construction / Infrastructure company.Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / accounting software.Sound understanding of project accounting & costing methods.Good knowledge of taxation (GST, TDS) & statutory compliance.Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Perks & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience & industry standards.Opportunity to work on challenging and large-scale construction projects.Growth and learning opportunities in a professional environment.
